HAINAN ISLAND
Know as Hawaii of the East, beautiful place with lovely beaches too, especially in Sanya.
I travel there with a friend who married a Hainese Wife, stayed in his nice countryside house and it is really nice to smile the fresh countryside air and hear the sounds of the rooster crow and domestic animals run about...

Silk Road
During the 70s I chance upon the Telvision documentary series "The Silk Road" was I hooked! I said one day I must go there.

True even that day can and I with a number of single minded friends got together on a toured of Silk Road - finally my dream come true, it meant alot to me!

The tour took us to many places we boarded the planed from Singapore Changi International Airport

Sadly as i am writing this blog SICHUAN had been struck by an Enomous earthquake and many tens of thousands of people had die many more still buried and likely no more hope as many days had alread passed :(
