Yesterday morning 30 May my mum had a terrible accident, She went marketing and suddenly, she was step on the foot and fall and a Filipino maid run her trolley over her banging her very hard in the head. She was bleeding profusely.
My brother Rannie had to rush her to the clinic straight away, but her injuries was too serious, he then immediately rushed her to Changi General Hospital.
The maid terrified and run off scared, what can we say, these maid are poorly paid..
we forgive her...with our big heart and compassionate, important thing is my mother is still recovering... had since recovered
This morning as usual I go buy her breakfast and saw for the first time the horrible injuries, her face swollen like a huge water melon and blue black the size i never seen before in my life.
I will continue monitring her condition as other family members not around.
Will stay overnight to accompany her so all ok.

TAIWAN
I was in doing my National Services from 1977 to 1979, first in the Basic Military Training for 3 months, then posted to the Republic Of Singapore Navy for the rest of 21 months.
Training in the army is tough and challenging but interesting.
I was at the pinacles of my fitness and was the company best PT - Physical Trainee.
After the Recruit passing out parade, i was posting to the Republic of Singapore Navy. 1st 6 monhts training the posted to the biggest navy ship- The Landing Ship Tank (LST in short)
Life in board the LST was interesting and we are a bunch of hardworking and got very strong team work and commeradeship.
I was on obard the LST till I completed my National Services.
With the LST I sail to Taiwan on several ocassion.

NEW ZEALAND
I went to New Zealand with the (Social Development Unit) SDU a government social organisation.
New Zealand is a lovely and scenic places with cool air and can be very cold. it got lots of moutain, hot spring and even Glacier!
We went to the Artic similation Building where tourist can go in for a fee and feels what life is life at the Artic, trust melike living inside a ice box :) extremely cold and make matter worse with blasting gale wind!
These are the places I went during the Trip:
LONDON
London is the first Country I ever step into Europe, this is also unplan as I am entroute or transit to Ireland for my Master Degree Convocation.
However I did stop over for 3 days and had a brief tour of London Town. London is very nice and place, I too a City tour bus that took me round the city, I got off and visited Arsemal Football Club before it was demolished and new stadium replced it.
Along the Way I met a Japanese who was there to visit the Arsenal Football Club, unfortunately, it was close so we too phot for each other from outside the stadium, I went back to my hotal as it was getting late, The Japanese friend wenty go to ctach Arsenal European chamopionship match that same evening.
Although it is tailend of winte,r and is still very cold, esepcially for someone from Sunny island Singapore, it seems doubly cold! this is also my first encounter with winter.

Our Present Dilemma
Our present life have 2 system - Human Society Vs Nature
We often hear others said let's try to Save enviroment? Is that true position, remember the environment has been and will always be here but will people?
if we don't mange our system now our Future generation will Scream back at us : what are you doing, we are suppose to evolve as leader of Biological system
and we are doing things that detroy nature and cuasing exptreme climate change leading to present Global Warming
We are blessed with a powerful mind , a mind so powerful which can do quantum physic, percie into DNA and explore outer space and beyond.
Yet back home, here on Earth, our State of Relationship with our lovely blue planet is very chaotic and disturbing
Hard to imagine we evolved 40 miilion century ago as a cell and through countless various stages of evolution to present day us and what did we do? Human mind is now out of balance with the state of nature and human society.
The disturbing fact is the Mind is the key to survivial instinct.
Looking way back into ancient evolutionary time, we won't very big, won't very special or that many, yet we now just survive, all other species are at our mercy to survive. We gotten so powerful and now lord over all other biological species be they plant or animal and can extinct them at our whim anf fancy if we so chooses, a sad stage if we do, showing a lack of compassion and respect for other life forms and nature.
One reason is human being can survive so well is the mind ability to conceptualised and visualised the future we look ahead to identify any opportunities or threat and plan according as to how we want to survive, their is a critical survival strategies.
we now behave like THE superior life form on earth, become more selfishness and sadly allows economic and politic of the day to dictate our survive totally disregarding our life form rights to live and delete natural resources and causing climate changes on a scale never seen before, today, we have a very serious environmental crisis and getting worse by the day!
Is the Economy important and everything? true? often natural world pay price as can be seen by those unbelievable storm whipping up today like Katerina etc and flooding and heat wave all over the world are happening on unprecedented scale, this is the price we are paying now for human arrogant and lack of respect for nature.
Also, After industrialisaton huaman began to exploit nature in unprecedented scale converted and eploited natural resources into things to suit our lifestyle and living needs, nature rights are often if not always ignored and never protected.
So you are either human or property! hence the mindless exploitation of nature! All the extreme weather all the result of all these exploitation of nature throught resource depletion!

GLOBAL WARMING
What is Global Warming?
Briefly, Science of our time states that Global Warming came about as a result of too much Carbon Dioxide Burning into our Atmosphere reulting in what there called "The Greenhouse Effect". What it mean is the Ozone layer that protect the Earth form Harming sun Utra Violet ray now thickened and has the effect of blocking the sun ray back into space, thereby causing heat to increase.
This increase in heat will cause the ice cap to melt and sea level will rise resulting in massive flood world wide we see today in unprecenedted level and scale is the direct result of that.
Aside from catastrophic havoc to our weather, it also increase temperature as many heat wave today are also a direct cause of that phenomena.
Why is it worrying?
We have to worry as it will some day in the very near future certainly wthin our life time, the weather system will be tip over and we lose control and huge flood and hurricane like Katerina etc will be a normal life experience very frightening and scaring prospect to be living with!
Scientist had already sounded the Global Warming alram bell decades also but due to human selfishness and econimic and politics we choose to ignore the plight and pain of the earth and n ow we are paying a heavy price for it.
Can we Stop it?
Certainly we can, but will be a long and adiuos journey, scientist have mentioned may be too slow and too late as within the next 50 years things will get much worse before we seen improvement provided we grossly speed up our pace to reduce CO2 immission etc only then we have a real fightening chance otherwise we may have done gorssmiscaariage of justice and maddness and cannot apolgise enoguh to our futrue generation and decentant who will scream back at us in our dream: What are you doing? can[t you seen that was the critical momne thuman can make a last minute effort to save earth and life byt we choose to blow it! out of human selfishenss and greed for wealth creation and all sorts of craving be it comsumerism etc toally disregarding planet earth pain and hurting it mindlesslyand perpetually...

Australia came about after my Singapore convocation of National University Of Ireland graduation of my Master Degree in Marketing.
The very next day after my convocation I flew off to Brisbane- Australia (Gold Coast)

I remeber that day XXX Singapore very own Budget Air Terminal started business and promoted its maiden flight to many destinations, Darwin is one of them at a unbelievable price of SGD$9.90! I boook few months in advance and very lucky to get the ticket to Darwin!

How I come to Ireland.
Ireland was never on my mind of travel.
I have work hard all my life and one aspiration I never had is an University Education...sigh.
Determined that I will not end my life journey without a University Degree I worked very hard and get a professinal Qualification together with other Recognised higher Qualification like one from Oklahoman City University - USA, I applied and was accepted to do a Master Degree in Marketing.
I work very hard and smart and finally realised my life time dream of a Master Degree.
Morale of the story:
No matter what adversity of problem situation and circumstances if one is determined one will find a way and there will always be a light at the way of that tunnel!

HONG KONG
Hong Kong, a country i always look forward to go but never did till now.
Going to Hong Kong was unplanned it was cast upon me. My mother had a recent heart by-pass and before she was wheeled into the operating table all the grandchildren, children and relatives are by her side to give her psycological support as she looks scared.
It is also a golden Opportunity to fly with my brohter Gary and her wife Yvonne and my wonderful nephew Richite. WE finally got to fly together - a great moment!
It is crucial as my mother is not a very brave person especially when you talk about a 70 plus aged lady who was show a video of the heart by pass operation and she "freak out" and scared stiff!
To compund the problem further, It is understnadable as she is already 73 and had chronic illness such as high blood pressure, high chlorestrol and recently had a stroke.
We want to take her mind off the heart by pass operation and ask her what she request before the operation and she mentioned Hong Kong! so she can go into operation with pleasant thoughts filled with grandchildren, children and relatives and the upcoming Hong Kong Trip for her ...etc and her frightful thoughts of the the operation will not be there.
it work! so to honour what we said I finally get to go to Hong Kong! not my choice but for the sake of my aged old heart operated mum.

A great man of vision and ability to get things done and transform Singapore from a collonial quiet fishing village island of not much significant ionto a thrifing metropolise and palce Singapore into Wrold attention in commerce, Banking, Trading etc.. and from a 3rd World economy into !st World economy in one genreation and his life time.
Our Present PRime Minister is his son, LEE HSIEN LOONG, another great and capable leader, will take Singapiore further from where his father left off... a huge and mammoth task especially in a world where change is the only constant!
My fore-father migrate from China to hongkong with my dad, and my father in turn migrate from hongkong to Singapore.
Live as immigrate is hard and job what hardly ant then and to irk out a living is not an easy task...

This city is vibrant with lives and especially commerce, one can buy just about anthing in Bangkok,

As Malaysia northern neighbour, you can see Muslim who have been there since a long time ago, all the people i have seen are very friendly and hard working and life in Hatyai is petty much layback and not too rushing like modern metropolis city like New York, Hong Kong, etc...
I just got back recently, gave my father a treat, he love going to that place, affordable and relax pace, we went there to worship at various temples and my dad visited his friends which suprises me he has many in far waya places too.
Anyway hpsitality and friendliness is hallmark of our family, little wonder we have many SINCERE FRIENDS.

During my National Service, I was om Borad this Naavy Ship and we cruise to Brunei, quite a slow ride but we eventually got there.
This is still a conservative Islamic country which is blessed with a great Sultan who love and care very much for their people.
it helps alot when have oil! lots of it! I admire their people have to pay NO TAX! amzing happy situation to be in.
Com to Think of it is there any other country where their citizen pays no tax? No sure, if there is cannot be many right?

JAPAN
Japan has always fascinated me, little wonder the monent I touch down at the airport I am feeling with suspense and awe as to what will happen next :)
Looking at them wearing their traditional custom appears very alien to me.

Hawaii is my first ever trip to USA, only reason I go there is to visit my Brother in law, sister and niece since I never visit them before, the least i can do as a brother to visit my sister, niece and brother in law.
I was there wth my father who also never visited USA and for him to visit her duaghter, brother in law and grand daughter Millburn too.
We had a wonderful time in Hawaii during my Excursion book from Singapore Tour Agency for both of us - my father and me, great to see my sister Adeline and niece Milburn and my brother in law.
I remember Hawaii best when as a young boy watch the Television series Hawaii- 5 -O. which is still very vivid in my mind.

It's proximity to Singapore makes the state's capital and resorts a favourite with visitor from the island nation.
Nice place with many beautiful scenic places and good place to wine and dine. Alot of Singaporean like myself for day trip and shop for value for money goods to give away as present for family and niece and nephews birthday, like I bought a guitar training set book and DVD for my nephew Johnathan to train as I notice he had a guitar and struggle painfully to learn by trial and error.

This is a place fill with historical Building by former collonial Master - The Portugese
You can find European ionspired architecture.
I have been to this Malaysia state few times now and love this quite town.
PENANG
A rich heritage and mystic, spiritual core - as well as fine beaches and wonderful food - make the island state of Penang a perenial favourite among visitors to Malaysia.
i was there with my dad give him a treat, Penang reminds me of Singapore in ite early days with alot of pre-war houses and shops.
Penang also have many temple and othe religion place of worship.
I like this place as it is still not fully develop yet and pace here is still ar crawling pace.
KUALA TERENGGANU
I particpated in a single mingling organise by Romancing Singapore .
The event is a huge one with overwhelming turnout, we sail off at night via the STAR CRUISE a leading cruise comapny in Asia!
We sailed to Terengganu and had a half day there for the sun, sand and beach, alot of fun and the water is very clear can see fishes close up by feeding bu hand - hopeful not shark come to eat ! ha ha ha, just kidding!

I have been to this Malaysia state few times now and love this quite town.
PENANG
A rich heritage and mystic, spiritual core - as well as fine beaches and wonderful food - make the island state of Penang a perenial favourite among visitors to Malaysia.
i was there with my dad give him a treat, Penang reminds me of Singapore in ite early days with alot of pre-war houses and shops.
Penang also have many temple and othe religion place of worship.
I like this place as it is still not fully develop yet and pace here is still ar crawling pace.
KUALA TERENGGANU
I particpated in a single mingling organise by Romancing Singapore .
The event is a huge one with overwhelming turnout, we sail off at night via the STAR CRUISE a leading cruise comapny in Asia!
We sailed to Terengganu and had a half day there for the sun, sand and beach, alot of fun and the water is very clear can see fishes close up by feeding bu hand - hopeful not shark come to eat ! ha ha ha, just kidding!
CAMBODIA
Awesome place, amazing architecture, history, how on earth the ancient people built such manifiicent and beautiful architecture in the middle of the jungle and nowhere is a huge achievement and mysttrey ! well done to them!
